A camping trip is the perfect way to ease out of summertime in Chicago and into the cozy, coolness of fall. Just imagine those crunchy fall leaves, a crackling fire, and no downtown skyline in sight.
Although the city keeps us busy, Chicago is surrounded by beautiful natural areas excellent for winding down. Take a day trip to small town retreats or go for a great fall bike ride on these natural trails accessible by public transit.
